The Sphinx and Menkaure

The entire body of the sphinx, which is suppose to be a lion and the head of a Pharaoh (Some say Khafre, some say not...) and the smaller of the main pyramids in the Giza complex in the backgroup - Menkaure pyramid.

Menkaure stands at 210 feet tall, about half the size of the other two pyramids. It was the last pyramid built in the Giza complex and is unique because it's base was composed of unfinished granite rock instead of the more common limestone.
