Check out the timelapse video... Here's my first test with Spirograph light painting. I tied a string to a tree with a weight and a light dangling above my camera, which was on the ground. I just gave the light a spin and used long exposures to capture it spinning. It worked out pretty good, but their were some branches messing things up and I didn't have enough weight. I've fixed both of those problems today and I'm ready for test #2 tonight. I've also got some military grade glow sticks! This shot was more or less what I get out of one spin. (It's actually 3 or 4 shots combined, 30 sec exp) Though I was too impatient to wait for it to settle completely before I tried another toss.
