Railway Construction

Building the railroad in the American old west.

Another in my western series.

Locomotive is based on this model - www.dragon-gscale.co.uk/lgb-23741-db-steam-locomotive-99-...

It is a DB steam engine, so it shouldn't be here, but I think it does it's job. ;)

Wonderful job! The landscaping is, as always, fantastic. The tents and other little 'vignettes' of action are wonderful. You've even included the Chinese workers, very historically accurate. However, I must critique you on your locomotive. While it is a great build, it's not very accurate to the style of engine used in the American West, it's more like those from Germany.

Ah, yes. I missed that the first time, and saw it coming back to check it again.

It's still a very amazing build, all the same!

The complete series is fantastic! I like this scene very much. The tents and the coach are my favorites. Maybe you find the time to build a western style locomotive. (The engine is really great, and you already know that it does not fit. I just want to encourage you to think about this) I'm looking forward to see this all together in one layout.

Definitely my favorite so far, but like some others have commented on the loco looks a bit out of place ;-) But the fantastic scenery is more then enough to make up for that "mistake".
