The Bones of Rutherford

The Reading Company's coaling dock in Rutherford, Pennsylvania stood tall on this cold morning in February 1994 as train PICA6 rolled past. Conrail soon tore it down as they made a ginormous intermodal hub for their joint Triple Crown service with Norfolk Southern. Today, hardly a trace remains of the large Reading yard that once stood here.
