I managed to get a day in London with my camera, and linked up with Flickr buddy Lauri Hytti. Weather held out too, so managed to fit in some photography and equally as important have a couple of pints in the lovely sunshine.
This is Albion Riverside, an 11 storey high-end residential development located between Albert Bridge and Battersea Bridge on the Thames riverfront. Albion Riverside was the creation of Norman Foster in collaboration with Hutchinson and Whampoa. Prices have reached a cool 10 million for a penthouse apartment!
Something funny I thought I would share ... a Flickr contact put me onto Google Chrome and more importantly, an extension called 'Image Search'. It's a plugin for scraping the web for your images and their use which I was intruiged by. Anyway, I have a photo on Getty (purple flower) which manages to sell every month, so thought it would be a good example to try. I have always been curious as to how my images sold through Getty may have been used. Anyway, having used the tool, I can now confirm that it appears across the web with the text 'Wetter is Better - Meet your new B.F.F' overlayed. Fame comes at a cost, a personal lubicrant called Astroglide! :-)
