One of the many footbridges that can be found in Bristol, this one is known locally as the 'Banana Bridge'. The bridge itself has been on my photography to-do list for a couple of years now so decided to stop the car and see what could be had. I completely lucked out, as whilst the first few shots were a bit flat as the sun got stuck behind the clouds, it did finally break allowing these amazing shadows, which for me make the shot.
On another note, my website is down at the minute. Not sure if anyone else has encountered this, but as a result of my work featuring on a number of blogs this month (only one of which I knew about), the traffic exceeding the 5GB hosting limit. The provider sent a couple of emails in a 24 hour period and and then just blocked the site. Rather annoyed to be honest, as its something which is completely out of my hands as you have no control as to who may blog your work. So, may be worth checking the details in your hosting package. I feel my web provider could of employed a more considered buffer as I could have been away for a few weeks. Note to self ... read the small print. Incidentally, its rather interesting looking at the internet stats; there were around 20 blogs featuring my work that I was completely unaware of. It's rather flattering, but would also be nice to be contacted first.
Anyway, rant over, hope you like the bridge :-)
Please view on black at the larger size as so much nicer! 'L'
