Judy cool

    Newer Older

In my kid-days from long ago, I liked to bang on things with my toy hammer and play with a pretend saw. As a kid today it is no different except that it means hot glue, velcro, duct tape, drill bits, hack saws, wing nuts, lock washers, and so on.

I worked a solid two weeks making a light strip box for my hot shoe flash. Everyday I had to modify the experiment. It kept my mind in the photography world even though I was no longer shooting.

Finally it was finished and I asked my reluctant model if she'd pose. Judy came out wearing my vest because it was cold. I really liked the pictures that came out. She did not.

I liked it enough to temporarily post it and add to my Steichen set.

I'm going to ask you vote on this one: keep or delete…
I won't be offended by a nay or like you any more for a yea.
Think of your vote as marriage counseling.lol.

If you want total honesty, and it's my own analness, i'm distracted by the third Judy -- let me explain -- I'd prefer either total symmetry (the third Judy SEEMS a tad larger and a bit too dark, even with the great shading work) OR I'd like all three Judy's unrelated to each other...make sense?

      But the lighting/shading IS great!

Okay, I think I agree with Roshie...so I re-did the image ...and as such Roshie's comments may not make as much sense now...but the picture now makes more sense...thanks Karen!

The way she grips her cup reminds me of how we felt without much heat in the house....Brrr.
