Golden Fields

    Newer Older

This morning I got up at 04:00am to participate in a short trek around the lakes near to my home, I was expecting a cast of myst coating the waters but it was'nt to be. I was a little bit disappointed having set my alarm so early but given the interesting sky I continued to drive around looking for landscape opportunities.

During the last 4 weeks we have had some very dry weather preventing the grass to continue its summer growth and instead wither away into a dry, dull orange look. As the morning past the sun begun to rise and in doing so turned the grass into a field of gold.

This old mill has been featured in my stream before and is very popular amongst other photographers..

Really like this, esp with the contrast given by the small hill on which the mill stands.
