The end of the trip... Imagine: 4,5 days on the road from Almere to Poland, to Germany, to the Czech Republic, back to Germany and back to Almere. How many miles that is? No idea, but a lot, not to speak off the millions and millions of rain drops. It has been pouring rain all the time.
We slept to less, drank way to much Jose Cuervo, hanging out in some sloppy 70's like hotel room in some unimportant industrial city. Static on the muted TV, music from the little iphone speakers. The wind and rain tearing at the building. Morning's hard.
A crematory is our last location for this trip. We are dead tired, that for sure. It's a dark gray morning when we parked the car and decide to smoke just one cigarette before getting out into the wet. Silently we smoke, the car windows just a tiny bit open to be still be able to breath a little oxygen.
inside the crematory, we are soaked. My hands are shaky and i'm cold. No more dry socks in the car.
I put out my tripod and set up the camera for the first shot. A big piece of the ceiling is dangling high above our heads, moving a little.
I guess if I was less tired and wet and cold i could've gotten some better shots. But I'm not unsatisfied.
You be the judge.
