Cinema Theater Varia

    Newer Older

    The old film projector...

Cinema-Theater Varia was designed by architect E. Claes and build in 1913.

The cinema closed its doors in 1986. In 1992 the facade and roof of the building were granted as a historic monument. Soon after renovation started and soon after that renovation was cancelled due to lack of funds.

Nothing is happening now to this architectural beauty in art nouveau style.

Unfortunately the facade is now blocked by scaffolding, so i took no picture of that.
