flowering peach branch between rows of trees

South Carolina grows more peaches than Georgia, the "Peach State." Spartanburg County is one place where a lot of peaches grow. These are some of the many trees, pruned and ready (the owners hope) for being fertilized, and starting to develop fruit. For some reason, I didn't see a single bee on these blossoms. Perhaps it was too windy.

It was a little dark yesterday, but the camera came out, anyway. Thanks for looking! Isn't God a great artist?

There was a frost during the night of March 28-29th, and, most likely, these flowers were zapped, and the peach crop will be a lot smaller than the growers were hoping for. That's agriculture for you.
