clover, our yard

We have a lot of clover in our yard -- we aren't the only ones who do. This little plant, growing perhaps six inches/2 dm tall, has a flowering head with lots of pretty little flowers on it. As Trifolium is a member of the pea family, its roots have nodules, which contain Nitrogen-fixing bacteria, which makes clover a good cattle feed.

Thanks for looking! Isn't God a great artist?
