Shot in the living room - we had to shift some furniture around to create space. I chose to use my 85mm f/1.8 as it was a for headshot (tighter crop), to flatten features somewhat and also the flexibility of a shooting wide-open (we did some natural light versions as well) - the other fast prime I have is a 35mm which would have may be distorted the perspective in the face if I'd shot a tight close up.
SB-24 in a small Lastolite EzyBox, camera left and slightly up (see the catchlight in the eyes) with a reflector to the right (to soften the shadow), triggered with a Cactus V4.
Was thinking (post shoot) I could of/should of added a flash on the background to create some drama/interest... oh well, you live and learn - definitely need to practice headshots/portraits some more!
