Eastbourne Pier - Passing the time...
120 sec at f/10 ISO100
It never ceases to amaze me how well long exposure shots come out from a piece of cheap welding glass. One of these days I'll have to get a proper 10-stop filter but there's something that I love about doing it on the cheap!
A grey day on the south coast left little opportunity other than a long exposure shot. I deliberately went a bit extra long and blew out some of the sky for a real minimal look.
The only problem with using an ultra wide lens for a shot like this is how close to the sea you have to actually get. It doesn't look it here but I was fearing for my camera (and feet!) a little!
