Marston Memorial

Twilight breaks over the memorial on Marston Moor in North Yorkshire. The site of one of the key battles of the English civil war in 1644. It was an strange experience standing there in the absolute silence of twilight trying to imagine the noise and chaos that must have filled the air during the battle all those years ago.
