Coll de Nargó - Sant Climent

Sant Climent, the former parish church of the village Coll de Nargó, is surrounded by an old graveyard. The single nave and the apse were probably erected within the 11th century. The mayor part of the massive, tapering belltower (upto the large horseshoe window) seems to be pre-Ropmanesque and has moorish influences, while the top part again Romanesque and may be added, when the apse was completed. Unfortunately the church was locked - and the graveyard dotted with rubbish.
