Mount Baker

I live in the Southern suburbs of Vancouver B.C. Canada.

(There is another Vancouver in Washington State, across the Columbia River from Portland Oregon.)

This is a photo of Mt. Baker, which is situated in Washington State, taken from Boundary Bay, Canada.

Mt Baker, also known as Koma Kulshan or simply Kulshan, is a 10,781 ft (3,286 m) active glacier-covered andesitic stratovolcano.

Mt Baker is prominent from many viewpoints in the Vancouver area.

I was at Boundary Bay hoping to get some shots of birds, but not many birds to be seen. I was rewarded by a beautiful view of the mountain.
