Seattle Skyline, LX3 w/ Wide Angle Converter

Newer Older

I took my LX3 down to Gas Works Park to try out the new wide-angle converter I just got for it. Pretty damn impressive I will say. I took this on a Gorillapod, and I shot wide open(!).

Panasonic LX3 w/DMW-LW46 Wide Angle Converter Lens

ISO80, f/2.0, 4 seconds in 16:9 format (first time trying that out as well)

Gorillapod SLR.

man this is wow... dramatic reflections on the water. I got the feeling I am in the zoom-out frame on a cool B&W movie and the zoom-in shot is about to start. Congrats on your new new wide-angle converter acquisition.

Thanks man, that picture truly deserves a bigger canvas, beautiful.

My girlfriend suddenly said :"that's from Grey's Anatomy! (her being a big fan of the series) when see saw the needle. So it works on different levels ;-)

I've heard that although the panasonic wide angle lens is kind of pricey, it's totally worth it rather than a third party type. this photo proves it too! nice.
