Day 283 // Hairpin
Fiordland National Park, on New Zealand's South Island / West Coast - is epic in every sense of the word. This is the HUGE valley view you are greeted with after emerging from the 1270m Homer Tunel, on the way to Milford Sound.
To say its one of the worlds great views in a gross understatement. Cascading falls plume over the edge in abundance. I only hope to re-shoot this with some big bad cloud action - the 2 days I was here were virtually cloudless - an almost unheard of occurance in a zone that gets up to 9m of rain a year.
