Congratulations! As a way to thank the contributors of Suburban Assault flickr pool, I have been posting weekly random favorites to the Suburban Assault blog.

This photo has been chosen as one of the Suburban Assault Hump Day Pics of the Week. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful photography in this group and I hope you continue to do so.

i guess lumberjacks ride bikes also.
great to see the Bakfiets carry a full grown person. I did not know.

They never actually rode the bike... this was just a posed for a shot. In fact, the bike was locked and as the bike owner I didn't know this happened until I was shown the photo later.

A bakfiets can carry a full-size adult, but it's more of novelty than something you might want to do regularly. Steering with more than 200 lbs in the box is a challenge. ( I've enjoyed giving friends a ride home in the bakfiets, I just wouldn't want to do it every day. )

For carrying adults, a Yuba Mundo, especially an electric Yuba Mundo, is a more pleasant and practical experience, providing better handling and lower effort.
