Shadow Walker 11~52

Newer Older

Shot for the 52 weeks for dogs project: On Sunday we were in Minden, Ontario at my Father-In-Law's house and I took the dogs out for a late afternoon walk hoping to find some inspiration for a week 11 shot. It came in the way of the amazing shadows in the woods above his house. Sampson is getting better and better at posing for me and actually went to where I sent him and stood (and later sat) patiently as I tried a few different shots.

Once back home I knew I wanted to use one of this set for the 52 weeks project, but I was still not happy with the results until I converted to black and white, did a bit of tweaking in PS Elements (lighting and contrast) and added the letterboxing.

We are not even half way through the year yet and I am already finding it challenging to get different shots for the project. But then that's the whole point, a great way to try new things and learn and I continue to be inspired by the great work I am seeing by others, both from within and outside of this fun project.

Happy Furry Friday everyone!
