The Beginning of Autumn, Blakey Ridge - Explored 29/08/12
A run over Blakey Ridge tonight and it really feels like the beginning of autumn rather than late summer any more. The heather on the North Yorkshire Moors is really vivid at the moment, it came into colour a lot later than usual, perhaps due to the poor summer.
As the sun dropped over the horizon I used a longer shutter speed to capture the last sunlight which also meant I captured some movement in the heather as it blew in the wind.
