Skater Doing Jumps. Lomography Simple Use Camera.
Skater doing jumps off the steps at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Man, I’m so stoked about how this photo turned out! I shot this with a cool little Lomography Simple Use Film Camera that I picked up at Urban Outfitters on Granville Street a couple weeks ago. It’s the black and white version, and it’s even got a built-in flash that’s powerful enough to add just the right amount of fill flash, while shooting straight into the sun, like I’m doing here in this photo! The film in this camera is Lomo Lady Grey 400 B&W film. This is the first time I tried this film, and I like it already. It’s got a lot of character with its big, but soft grain. I home developed it with mein Honighäschen @joannewhiteart in her kitchen sink with Kodak HC110(b) 5:30 minutes developing time. Super easy. I’d love to get ahold of some more of this film, and try it in some other cameras as well. My hat’s off to the skater dude who was doing these awesome jumps, and his friend who was filming him! I hope you guys come across my photo somewhere and enjoy it! There will always be a bit of skater in me, as I used to love skateboarding when I was young. instagram.com/p/BpfSIAal1Rg/
