The strip of wildflowers on the North Foreland cliff-top was teeming with Marbled Whites yesterday - the most I've ever seen there. However, the majority of them were choosing to hunker down in the long grass out of the wind. This is fine if you're a macro-lenser, but not so good if - like me - you're shooting from nine feet away. Still, I managed a few shots.
