Flag of the Town of Forest, Ontario. The town was founded as a railway stop in 1859,(to resupply the steam engines with cord wood and water) and became large enough to be incorporated as a town in 1888. The design has the coat of arms in the centre, and the three green triangles divided by the white lines represent the junction of three townships that the town got its land from. (Plympton, Warwick, and Bosanquet Townships, in Lambton County. The County of Lambton was incorporated in 1849.)
