EL51 at Yorkeys Crossing

Australian National introduced the first of its EL class locomotives in 1990 - built in Australia by Goninan with GE generators. Class leader EL51 heads 'The Westliner' Adelaide to Perth service away from Port Augusta on 15 September 1990, assisted by Clyde-EMD products CL10/DL47.

This was the first working to the west of an EL class loco.
