DL500B line-up

Industrial action on 4 June 1987 meant that the only train running in South Australia was a steam excursion that had travelled across from Victoria.

While waiting for the excursion to depart, six of Australian National's ALCo DL500Bs, led by 948, were caught slumbering at the Tailem Bend loco shed waiting for things to start moving again.
