Superchook at Lofty

On the Adelaide broad gauge suburban system the 'Superchooks' were a heavily modified Redhen railcar set that entered service in 1983.

Only one 3-car set ever received this treatment which was loosely based on the new 2000 class railcars that had been recently introduced.

In October 1986, the guard gives the 'right away' as cars 2301,2501,2502 depart Mt Lofty station on an Adelaide to Bridgewater working.
