Edenhall Woods

I was supposed to be in the house waiting for a couple of deliveries but the light looked wonderful so I escaped for 20 minutes. I had a shot in my head near the Penrith Beacon but the mist had already left there so I went to Edenhall instead. These were taken from the roadside peering over a wall but I think the extra height doesn't do any harm. There are two more in the comments taken at the same time.
