White Sands wind wrinkles

    Prev Next

    the wind came
and put wrinkles on the lake
    so I stayed inside
because I didn't want to get old.

    (can't remember the poet's name)

Neither Sangeta nor I could bare to deface nature's work of art with our footprints.

    Well, ok... we could.

you can deface nature, but it lasts for billions of years while you will only last a few decades more. after a few thousands years more all your molecules will be part of something else.

      great shot!

I went to a used bookstore a long time ago and got a poetry book that I think was from the 70s, that poem was one of the ones in it. It was my favorite poetry book of all time. I believe it was a collection of a bunch of young poets... I let a friend borrow it and never got it back. I wish I could remember what it was called. They came out with a new book every year I believe.
