Below the Level Of Consciousness

Not awake nor asleep, just passing through time as do passers-by,

Neither party waving or seeing the other

Slowly losing grip on a small world he carries in a crumpled and worn-out bag

Sinking in to numbness below the level of consciousness

In a sea of activity the spirit and life slowly drowns


Not sure why I wrote the above. I was just trying to sum my thoughts on the above image and it came out like a poem :-) I don't do that often.
