Generations for Peace

Daughter and mother posing for peace in Kurdistan. We met the two during a peace-demo in Bern. All over Switzerland kurds united to ask for peace in the kurdish territories and to demostrate against the turkish strikes. It was a very peacful demo. People stopted and watched, others gathered together to talk. We searched for subjects to photograph but hesitated since it's kind of weird for me as a shy swiss to "intrude" into others privacy. I finally did, as you may see. Our two models are daughter and mother. They too came to Bern to demonstrated and they quickly agreed to pose for us. My girfriend talked to them while I took the pictrues. It was a pretty quick action and they seemed sattisfied with the result. We exchaned some info (where to find the photo) and went on. After this quick shooting it seemed way easier to talk to completly strangers and ask them to pose for us.

After all it was a very fascinating afternoon.
