walking the sanddune

It a was windy day when I visited Rugbjerg Knude, but overlooking the North Sea from the dune was beautiful

If you can spot the man walking up the dune you get an idea of size of it...

The sea, the beach and the dunes seems to steal all the attention when visiting Rubjerg Knude by Lønstrup Klint at the weatcost by the Northsea

However, one can't avoid becoming just a little bit fascinated by the almost 70 meter high cliff, which actually protrudes 90 meters above the sea, where thick layers of sands flight is a part of the dune.

A dune is a hill in the geography of sand formed by wind movements.

The second largest migrating dune in Denmark is Rubjerg Knude.

Coastal dunes are special at the west coast of Jutland.
