The 105-floor Ryugyong Hotel is the most ugly, yet fascinating, building I've ever saw. It's on construction since 1987 and took 2% of the north korean GDP. The project had 3000 (!!!) rooms and FIVE revolving restaurants on top of it.


I took this picture on the middle of the road, after asking for very long for my guides to take me there. I've stand there for some minutes and very few cars passed.
