Buachaille Etive Mor is something of a magnet for photographers and the view of mountain from the River Coupall on the way into Glen Etive is probably the most photographed.
This was taken on my third visit to the location and this was the first time that there was water flowing in the bottom right waterfall. I feel that there is still not enough to provide interest in that corner, however, and I find the pool detracts slightly from the composition. However, perhaps being able to see the rocks under the surface makes a change?
What I do like, however, is the mist on the mountain, which began to lift when we arrived. It slowly cleared to reveal more of the mountain, but I prefer this shot, with part of the hill still obscured.
