Timelapse over Hastings on Hudson
My first timelapse video, testing out the EOS Utility from our apartment window before needing to use it "in production" over Christmas week.
It runs from 3:25 AM to 5:34 PM, one shot per minute, played back at 12 FPS. The slight shift in framing at around 7:30 AM is when I had to swap the dead batteries in the grip. (Tip: Get the AC adapter for timelapse use.)
In the foreground is the Hastings on Hudson Metro-North commuter train station. You can see the trains stopping just left of center, about a quarter up from the bottom. I like how rush hour is clearly evident by the drop-off/pick-up car traffic at the station plaza (bottom, near right).
I should have kept it going longer, but the second pair of batteries was about to die, and we wanted to start using our kitchen lights again.
