    For today's shot I decided to play with the BokehMasters Kit some more.

    Camera Settings

    Lens: 50mm f/1.8d
    Exposure: 1/30
    Aperture: f/2.8
    ISO: 100

    Strobe Settings

    1x SB900 @ 1/128th power, triggered via built in flash and commander mode. Shot thru speed grid, camera top left.

      nice flash, it looks like a spot light. and the background looks like a solid backdrop. with this shot, you can really see the light fall off

      I have a question how do you focus to get the subject clear and the background in Bokeh do you shoot the two pics separately and then club them together or is it possible to shoot this as a single frame with the bokeh disc on your lens could you please help explain ..!!

      For the focusing issue. I used the focusing light on the camera. Its possible with one shot. I had a black backdrop and set up green christmas lights on the backdrop from behind, set up the can on a tv tray and shot away. the lights were about 5-10 feet away from the can. lemme know if you have any other questions.
