Could someone explain what change is Obama going to bring. All we here from Obama supporters is; he's articulate and goodlooking. Ted Bundy was articulate and good looking should he have ran for President? Obama supporters just can't seem to articulate what it is Obama is bringing.
My argument is the State of Illnois has the highest crime rate, the largest deficit of any other State in the union, Obama is a Representative of that State. You really want that for America? Although I do not personally support abortion; I do believe a woman has the right to decide, but tp practice infanticide, allow a baby who miraculously survives to die alone and slowly; that demonstrates to me an absolute void of any compasion. Obama will bring our brave soldiers home defeated, does anyone remember Vietnam and how this country treated those soldiers? They were defeated and then mistreated by their fellow Americans. You want this generation responsible for the same thing. A slap in the face to those familys who lost loved ones, tell them their brave sons and daughters died for nothing. Obama wants to allow the Bush tax cuts to expire resulting in an automatic tax increase for every American. Obama has released no personal information about himself; what is this man afraid of? Does anyone remember 911 and those Americans who were killed by those animals? Obama does not have the experience to protect this country and the next attack could be one of your family members.
Now would one of you Obama supporters please tell me why I should vote for Obama.

People, people, people! Haven't we had enough of the failed policies for the past 8 years? I mean come on! Barack Obama will have a rescue plan for the middle class.

McCain wants to continue the same economic policies as Bush(cater to the rich and nothing for the middle class). Barack Obama has reason and wants to reform the failing policies. He is rational and has reason and is not WAR HAPPY.

Why do you think Bush has been in hiding for the past few weeks?
Why do you think Bush ordered a strike on Syria? He did it to scare voters.

Obama has the support of the Clintons and many other republican and democratic officials for a reason, because he has the

intelligence and advisors to bring our country back to where it was when Clinton was in office. get real people VOTE OBAMA for your kids sake.

      Omgnector
What exactly were the policies that failed the last eight years? Are you referring to the Bush tax cuts? The same tax cuts that gave hard working Americans additional disposable income. Maybe your just angry because not one Amercian has been killed by our enemy since 911 due to additional spending for Homeland Security. Could it be Bush understood by allowing tax breaks to American Corporations means more job oppourtunities, business expantions or new business creating an increased tax revenue for the Goverment. What incentive are you offering anyone to open new business's if your only go to increase taxes as they become more successful.
Look I am not a Bush fan; he was infact a detriment to the Republican Party. Bush caved to to Democrats who held the majority in the house instead of fighting. McCain understands what this economy needs; keep the Bush tax cuts to stimulate the economy; because he spent 5 years in a P.O.W. camp he can understand what our proud men and women are expierencing everyday. He won't allow them to come home defeated, I think we know what that did the proud American Vietnam veterans when they came home. Finally he will keep Democracy alive! Please let me know what it is exactly Obama is going to do.

Here's what Obama's promises really add up to; don't be affraid to read this Obama supporters it's only the truth it won't hurt you.

Obama's assertion that "I've offered spending cuts above and beyond" the expense of his promises is accepted only by his partisans. His vow to save money by "eliminating programs that don't work" masks his failure throughout the campaign to specify what those programs are — beyond the withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

A sampling of what voters heard in the ad, and what he didn't tell them:

THE SPIN: "That's why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year."

THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it's not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.

      ___

THE SPIN: "I also believe every American has a right to affordable health care."

THE FACTS: That belief should not be confused with a guarantee of health coverage for all. He makes no such promise. Obama hinted as much in the ad when he said about the problem of the uninsured: "I want to start doing something about it." He would mandate coverage for children but not adults. His program is aimed at making insurance more affordable by offering the choice of government-subsidized coverage similar to that in a plan for federal employees and other steps, including requiring larger employers to share costs of insuring workers.

      ___

      ___

THE SPIN: "Here's what I'll do. Cut taxes for every working family making less than $200,000 a year. Give businesses a tax credit for every new employee that they hire right here in the U.S. over the next two years and eliminate tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. Help homeowners who are making a good faith effort to pay their mortgages, by freezing foreclosures for 90 days. And just like after 9-11, we'll provide low-cost loans to help small businesses pay their workers and keep their doors open. "

THE FACTS: His proposals — the tax cuts, the low-cost loans, the $15 billion a year he promises for alternative energy, and more — cost money, and the country could be facing a record $1 trillion deficit next year. Indeed, Obama recently acknowledged — although not in his commercial — that: "The next president will have to scale back his agenda and some of his proposals."

Congratulations President Elect Obama and faithful supporters!
With the majority in the House and Senate; there will be no
selfish Republicans to stand in the way of properity for America!
I will support our new President and I have high expectations he will
keep his promise to not only balance our budget, stimulate our economy as well. Look forward to my son-in-law returning from Iraq soon.
The last President to control that much power (House and Senate majority) was President Ronald Reagan. Our enconomy was in the midst of recession when he took office; within 16 months he had turned it around. Before the end of his first term managed to end the cold war.
Second term began with a land slide victory; ending in a flourishing economy. All the build up about President Obama I have high expectations he will do the same.
It's all on him; he as been given the gift of power, however, should he fail there are no, not one, Republican to blame. Keep your eye on the PORK...it won't be Republican PORK. Finally the Democrats are in the light; 100% accountable to their nation.
Good luck I will keep you posted on his success.
