Green Impact Zone - White House Officials Walking Tour, Sept. 1, 2009
Administration officials from Washington, D.C., joined U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver II, local officials and neighborhood leaders took part in a walking tour of the Ivanhoe neighborhood, located within the Green Impact Zone in Kansas City, Mo.

Visiting dignitaries included:

- Secretary Shaun Donovan, Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
- Deputy Secretary of Transportation John Porcari
- Adolfo Carrion, director of the White House Office of Urban Affairs
- Van Jones, special advisor for green jobs with the White House Council for Environmental Quality
- Derek Douglas, special advisor to the president for urban affairs
