Citrus Trees in Pedralbes Monastery
Monestir de Pedralbes ~ Barcelona (Catalonia).
The Gothic cloister of the Monestir de Pedralbes is one of Barcelona's medieval treasures. Founded in 1326 by queen Elisenda de Montcada, the fourth wife of King James II of Aragon, the monastery was inhabited by nuns until the 19th Century. Today it is protected as a monument of great historic and artistic value. If you are interested in art, history or architecture and are planning a visit to Barcelona do not miss it!
