through this wonderland

If you've ever gone hiking in the Pacific Northwest, you know that at times the lush shades of green present out here can almost be an assault on the eyes. I've not uncommonly found myself blinking in disbelief as the world swirls around me in those verdant shades of color.

And if you haven't been hiking in the Pacific Northwest, well... what are you waiting for? ;-)

Without a doubt, I will be making a visit to the Pacific Northwest before too long and your photos have certainly been a contributing factor in my interest to do so. Another winner here.

I, too, am often mesmerized by all the green beneath the canopy. I am particularly fond of backlit hanging moss. :-)

Woooow! Yes, so amazing. I completely know what you mean about being in disbelief. It's magical. Reminds me a lot of my magical forests in the Czech Rep. :-))

You're not doing your part to keep this Pacific Northwest stuff a secret! I can never capture the greens in photos as well as they radiate in the woods. I've tried, and tried. You seem to succeed often.

Breathtakingly beautiful Danielle. I could lose myself here and not care one bit (at least not for the first few hours...hehe).

I love how mystical the forest looks in this image. I've been there once and definitely need to return... to get lost in the quiet of those trees was a life-changing experience. Thanks for reminding me.
