not a moment will be lost
I promise you not a moment will be lost as long as I have heart & voice to speak & we will walk again together with a thousand others & a thousand more & on & on until there is no one among us who does not know the truth: there is no future without love.
I'm still sorting through my images from the tulip farm, but I'm pretty sure this one is my favorite. Something catches in my throat when I look at it... how does Hasselblad manage to make bokeh look so... painterly? That brown dirt row that flows into the distance, the suggestion of white, puffy clouds, the almost tangible texture of those impossibly soft tulip petals... sigh. I'm grateful for photography, for having free time to pursue it, and for the many ways it soothes and inspires.
I'm sure it helps that the film was Velvia. Oh, slide film... how you make me swoon.
