peregrination ponderings (on a hasselblad highway)

peregrination (pehr-uh-gruh-NAY-shun , noun): a traveling from place to place; a wandering.

I've always been a bit of a wanderer. Though I spent my childhood in Iowa, and intend to spend the rest of my years in Oregon, something in me will always, always long for a gypsy kind of existence. Were I not bound by the obligation of student loan debt, I'd be out there now, roaming the county, the continent, the world. Making money where I could to support a bare minimum of needs. No car, no couch, no closets... just what I could carry. Good God, how it does call to me - that base longing. Maybe in another life, I was such a person. A gypsy. A bard. A globe trekker.

Sigh. Anywho, this was taken in the Palouse, on a gorgeous day when the clouds floated by quietly but ominously, like white warships in a bright blue sea.

Taken with my Hasselblad.
