glacier's lake josephine

I remember standing here quite vividly: perched at the end of a boat dock overlooking Lake Josephine, viewing the world beneath the lake's surface, looking forward to the continuation of my hike up to Grinnell Glacier. I almost didn't stop at this viewpoint, as I was anxious to continue up the trail and figured I could capture this scene on the way back. But I've learned my lesson about skipping a shot and thinking you can come back to it: it rarely happens, and when it does, the light and conditions have certainly changed (and somehow, almost always for the worst).
