La Alhambra Interactive Visit Reception Desk

Welcome to Granada!

Here you are, ready to visit la Alhambra... or are you just at home or in your office? No matter, here you'll be able to tour through the main buildings, palaces and patios, in a full interactive and immersive experience.

There are 3 ways to do this:

1) If you have a very fast connection and computer, click here: it will take you to a fullscreen immersive viewer. To go to one place to another, however, you'll have to go back to the equirectangular and click on the notes.

2) (My preferred way!) If your connection and/or computer is not so great, and if you use Firefox, I recommend installing the Greasemonkey plugin, as well as this script. This will allow you to view the immersive panoramas in a smaller size, without leaving the Flickr page (a small button wil appear above the picture). But here, what's more, inside the viewer you'll be able to click on the links to go wander through the rooms!

3) You can always visit only the equirectangulars without the immersive experience, of course.

Also, for enhanced gaming experience, I have hidden the panoramas througout my photostream, so you're less tempted to do the visit in a linear way... but you can cheat by going to the set.

Enjoy!

(on the technical side, the panoramas here are all hand-held, stitched from 4 to 7 shots)
