Summer top

    Newer Older

I know it's so cold outside here, but I have a reason to make more summer tops. I'm going back to Japan for holiday in July. Yey!

Free pattern by Rae from "Sew Mama, Sew!" blog. Thank you!

Really nice, i really like both the design and the fabric!
Here (sweden) we have spring so for me it´s not offseason:-)

Does it have a zipper or something?

I love it! I think I may have to try this :)

      Thank you everyone!

Rino clothing, it doesn't have a zip. You draft the pattern using your body measurements, so it should fit perfectly. It was easy as well. So, have a go. I'm sure you'll create a lovely top!

By the way, my little sister is studying in Stockholm, and I was originally visiting Sweden this summer instead of going back to Japan. But my grandma became ill, so I changed my plan. Sweden is definitely next country to go on my list.

      Thank you!
My shoulder straps are somehow ended up with a V shape (when you see the tutorial, they look more straight), but I kind of like it like this.

mame*, did you cut out the arm divots? Did you curve the side seams inward?

    13. mame* 71 months ago | reply

Hi there shc72, yes I did sew curves under the arms, but I didn't do the side seams (my waist size is almost 2 sizes bigger than my hip size, though).
