Lavender stalk Christmas ornaments from France

    Newer Older

The lavender Christmas ornaments we bought at Aix-en-Provence, France. (see previous post).

Edit: The site that was using this photo without my consent apparently removed the instructions that went with the photo. And people commenting there are blaming me for it. I did not ask them to remove the instructions, only the PHOTO - how could I, since I didn't write them? If you want to complain about that, complain to them, not me.

And yes the seller was aware I was taking photos, and I made sure to mention that I got them in Aix-en-Provence. (Note, I did not see her stall there this past Christmas though. Christmas stalls are always transient.)

Espaço Marí Monteiro, .Heather., and 18 other people added this photo to their favorites.

I love these!!! I have been making lavender bottles (wands) for years but have never thought of making ornaments. The ribbons they used on these are just beautiful.

Do you have a source to purchase these? I live in the United States. I have been been searching online but cannot locate a source.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

      Hi again,

My lavender is now maturing and I have been on a mission to find directions for making these ornaments. Since I can't find a source to purchase these in the US so I can see how they are made, I have been looking for instructions online. I found instructions here: Did you post the directions? It looks like your picture.

Hi Josie. That is my picture, but I didn't post that blog post nor did I allow them to use my photo. Grr. Thanks for alerting me.

I think that it is great shame, that she did not ask you if she could use your photo but what is greater is that she removed the tutorial on how to make them as well. They are lovely and I am sure that you enjoy them.
