VHS Heaven...or Hell.

    Newer Older

This is a private collection that my cousin has amassed, mostly from a closing video store. If you see something you have even heard of, I'll be amazed. If there's something you actually want, I'll send you some contact info.

[Update: These have all been sold. A single buyer bought the whole lot.]

Man, I bet he has a lot of good flicks that are not available on DVD.
Great to see this on a Yahoo article.

Out of curiosity, did Flickr or any of the online sites that have used your image paid you in any way? As a photographer, the fact that these images are so easily distributable keeps me from posting any images on Flickr.

Hello! I am from the website everythingisterrible.com, where we take old VHS tapes and re-edit them into humorous videos. Needless to say we are all avid VHS collectors. I saw your pic linked on Wired and almost wept tears of joy when I saw this picture.

We will take ANYTHING you don't want, the more obscure the better! Please!!

What a time for me to go out of town! Sorry for a delay in responding to questions.

Sorry, all the videos are in the hands of another, now.

JSA - Wow! I wish I had seen it!! Of all the times for me to be on the road without a computer!!

ramblux - I was not paid. I made this photo available under the creative commons license. My profile asks only for name credit and that the user contacts me to tell me how it's being used. Flickr also requires link-back.

Thanks for all the comments, friends!

Hi! I would like to use this picture in my Master's thesis (Computing Science) presentation, illustrating media/video asset management. Do I have your permission? :)
