Lights

2 + 2 + 2 x 2

(Two suns - one reflected; two tall street lamps; two traffic lights, with two lit colours in each; two flares / reflections for the posts - every light source is double :)

Fabulous mixed light and atmosphere! I love the warm tones here, really wonderful image!
  • Ann P PRO 4y

    love this....so many lights...
  • Michael Steverson PRO 4y

Wow. You really produced something special here. I've been told so many times that twos don't work well in photography. Here's proof that they do huh?

Hey I got an iPhone I'll be trying out some soon. We'll see if I can ever approach your level!
  • Мaistora PRO 4y

    Thanks, everyone!

Michael Steverson Thanks, Mike. This isn't the phone, though - it's the Nex-5 (nearly as pocketable, but large sensor and real optics). I'm glad people are starting to confuse them :) (The moss-covered bridge is form the phone, as was the calligrapher portrait uploaded a few days earlier; the latter is imho a strong case in favour of phones).
  • John Goode 4y

Yeah! This was shot by a phone! It's a cool shot…
  • Мaistora PRO 4y

John Goode Why does everyone automatically assume this was a phone shot?!! Despite the explicit EXIF info above the map and explicit tags? And even after a remark (above) correcting this misunderstanding? This is starting to offend my premium 'proper' camera :) )) ))) (But is sooo flattering for the phone :)
  • Matthew Budnick 4y

Мaistora because most people are not very intelligent lol :) or they don't take the time to read through the EXIF data
  • Мaistora PRO 4y

Matthew Budnick These two blokes are among the most intelligent you'll possibly meet - but I like to think they expect my phones to do miracles :) (I'm not using some mediocre iPhones, after all :) But - no, even a Sony Ericsson is no match to the Nex. Not yet :)

Мaistora from now on you should say that all your pictures were taken with a kodak disposable! . you have some great shots, so who knows maybe people will believe you. ps i have never seen the nex. how big is it?
  • Matsuura PRO 4y

    superb!
  • John Goode 4y

As you know I use a NEX-5, I call it my *toy camera* but I think it's very cool. Hope you enjoyed my irony :) (perhaps too English?)
  • Мaistora PRO 4y

John Goode Never a problem, John :) There may be other areas of... 'differences', but I was fully 'integrated' on irony before I became British and long before I came to these isles - hope you're spotting mine, too :) (And, unlike some, I also do self- )
  • Olivier Jeannin PRO 4y

    fantastic, I love it!
