      This is one of my favourite Chernobyl pictures ever, I'm hoping to arrange a tour of the area at some point in the future.

      i did a research paper on chernobyl last year.

      it is interesting to note that after the disaster, gas masks were strewn about buildings and schools by photogrophers to make better, more poignant pictures.

      not sure if that was the case here, but it's still a great picture either way.

      A.Ruiz, it's gonna take roughly 100,000 years for the radiation levels to go down enough that you could safely go there. there are areas that put out 10,000 Remkens an hour... in those areas, you would die in less than 2 minutes. You don't want to go to chernobyl. But still, a stunning shot and instant fave
